Dermot Scanlon
Dermot Scanlon is Principal and founder of J. D. Scanlon & Co., Solicitors.
Dermot graduated from University College Dublin with an honours law degree (B.C.L.) and thereafter qualified as a solicitor in 1983.
He established his own practice in 1987 and acquired the practice of Goodbody & Kennedy, Solicitors in 1989.

Maria Dillon
Maria Dillon graduated from University College, Galway with Honours Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degrees.
Maria also obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) with Merit from the University of London.
Maria qualified as a Solicitor at Easter, 2002 and commenced employment with J. D. Scanlon & Co., Solicitors in January, 2003.

Joanne Bane
Joanne Bane graduated from Trinity College, Dublin with a first class honours Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business, Economics & Social Studies.
Joanne subsequently obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Studies from Dublin Institute of Technology.
Joanne commenced her training with the firm in 2006 and qualified as a Solicitor in 2009.

Maeve Sharpley
Maeve Sharpley qualified with an honours Bachelor of Corporate Law (International) degree from NUI Galway.
She also holds an honours postgraduate Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree and also a university diploma in French law and language from Universite d’Auvergne in France.
Maeve trained with the firm of Noel Smyth & Partners in Dublin 2.
She then worked with McCann Fitzgerald Solicitors before joining J.D. Scanlon & Company Solicitors in April 2013.
